We called a different Villa location and asked about if our situation qualifies for a full refund according to the 30 day return policy and the manager there confirmed. We went to the location we had called and were able to make the return. The manager at the St Paul location informed us that the 30th day is the last day and that the Mall of America location was in the wrong.
I went there once with my friends looking for some shoes and clothes. The customer service was bad, didn't ask if I needed help and all the employees were behind the register on their phones doing nothing.
#2 They tried to say that it had been more than 30 days (please learn to count).
The reason for the return was because we weren't sure of size and decided to buy two different sizes of the same item to try on. We explained this to the employee after she asked multiple times what was wrong with the item, and we replied more than once that there was nothing wrong. The employee exclaims "the other pair of shoes ain't even on your receipt". Hello, because it was purchased on a separate transaction!! Besides that, what does the other size/purchase have to do with this particular transaction? Once again, accusing us of lying. They repeatedly told us that we only qualify for store credit and that returns should be made "within" 30 days. This is telling us that in their minds they are counting 29 days. Someone please inform them.
#3 The item had been closely observed for far too long, indicating that they thought we were lying.
Just attempted to do a return for an online purchase. According to the store's return policy for online purchases, you have 30 days to return the merchandise. On the 30th day, we brought our item in. The following explains our experience with the store employees:
Will NOT buy a pair of shoes from this store. Need new employees that know GOOD customer service. I went to return a pair of shoes the guy looked at them trying to find a reason not to take them back. Once again I'm happy with the shoe just need a bigger size.. not returning them to get my money back. Dumb ass idiot was wearing shades on while working. Very rude old ass man who ever hired this dumb ass needs to be reported sincerely one pissed off customer. Will let everyone know NOT to shop here. ( Your loss not mine ) :)
Employees in here incompetent. Too much playful banter. Too much playing around. Seldom am I greeted when I walk into the store. You have 4-5 employees hovering around the checkout or in the back but have to search for someone for a size. I asked for a size waited for 10 minutes then had to look for the guy. He forgot about me then cam back out with the wrong shoe. Too many places in the mall to get shoes.
The guys there helped me find the best retro for me. I bought the retro 9 space jams on Christmas Eve from their store. Only store in the MOA that sells retros that had my size in stock. If you are looking for retros in your size, head over to Villa at the MOA. Very impressed with their staff they have!!
I will be getting a hold of district management and reporting the employees that were working today. That is not how you treat customers nor should you ever violate your company's return policy.
