Location was perfect and easy to get to. It was right off of I-35W. The room was very clean, and The Green Mill in the hotel is fantastic.
When we got there, the staff was very nice, that's as far as the good review goes. We received a call at 10pm on our 1st night from the previous guest stating that they had horrible bed bug bites from when they were there. She said she just checked out Monday and we arrived on Tuesday. She said she tried to call the manager Mitch and he never called her back so she took it upon herself to call her old room and inform us of the bug problem. When we called the front desk they acted like they didn't want to believe us. Finally after 40 mins we got a different room. It was just horrible to think that we were laying in a filthy room. Finally when we woke up we went downstairs for breakfast inside the hotel restaurant and they "lost power" so we had to go else where for our food. Needless to say, this was all in less then 12 hours of our arrival time. Let's see how the rest of our stay goes, we still have 3 more nights.
We were so blessed here at this hotel. the front desk gal/shuttle driver was amazing and kind. 5 stars for sure. clean room and great service.
Rooms were small but clean. We had a poolside room and while the pool area was large, the pool was tiny. The pool pictures on the website are very misleading... Fraudulent actually. The pool pictures should be retaken to represent the actual size. The hot tub was nice size but was fenced off from the main pool area which was kind of odd. Pool hours were also a detraction.. Saturday night pool was closed at 11 and didn't open until 9am Sunday. During the week pool hours were posted as 9am-10pm.
I did not get a chance to stay here but I had a meeting in one of the banquet rooms and got to see some of the interior, pool, and tried some of the pizza from green mill. I absolutely loved it though from what I did get a chance to see. The pool is beautiful and the decorations around it make you feel like you’re outside. It’s pretty big and has a beautiful gazebo right next to it. I definitely will be staying here next time I stay in the cities!!!
