Our small group of 5 friends travelled in Bhutan with Far and High in early October 2017. We worked with Postak Shrestha here in Minneapolis to customize our trip. Throughout the process Postak was committed to listening to us and making sure that our wishes were became reality when we were in Bhutan. While in this beautiful country, we had lovely accommodations, saw spectacular places and experienced exceptional pageantry at several local festivals. Our guide - Jermi - and driver - Ugey - were top notch. We also learned much about the country's history and how important the commitment to the Gross National Happiness (GNH) is. I highly recommend Postak and Far and High if you wish to visit this unique Himalayan country.
AWESOME TRIP! What a wonderful experience. Postak, Rinzin and Dorji went above an beyond our expectations! Every detail taken care of! Bad roads were out of their control. Only way to avoid that situation is to fly into Bumthang and then just drive one way (to Paro). But seeing mountains both ways is worth the bumpy, long drive.... or you have to wait until road project is complete.
We used Far and High for a September 2015 private group tour of the Himalayas, China, Tibet,Nepal, Bhutan and ending in India. Postak of Far and High planned and organized the tour for us. He was terrific being easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Hotels were very good. Guides and drivers were excellent and very reliable. We would us Far & High again.
