I and my family are so grateful to Dr. Schulz for her compassion and generosity in going way above and beyond the call of duty to help our sick cockatiel. After a full day of "intensive care", Dr. Schulz gave us a drastically discounted second day of much needed tube feeding and then volunteered to take her home for several days so she could continue to tube feed during her days off. She is definitely standing in the gap to help preserve Luigi's life, and our entire family is tremendously grateful.
Best pet hospital best doc and staff
The doctor is very knowledgeable and very thorough. He is great with my dog and he doesn't yank my chain when it comes to recommended or mandatory procedures. Affordable and very accommodating for last minute, unscheduled visits.
We have 6 cats. Needless to say, we use the services of a veterinarian often. I moved to Bloomington and changed vets two or three times. Our neighbor recommended South Hyland Pet Hospital. We have never been happier.
EDIT: I had originally gave South Hyland 3 stars. After talking among peers and a visit to a geographically closer vet (for an emergency visit), I can very comfortably say that S.H. is probably one of the best in the area in terms of cost and customer service.
