Wonderful experience. Had valet parking. Car was running when we got there. Unfortunately due to the cold and being there for a week our battery died on the way out. A shuttle driver and attendant tried to start our car but we couldn't get out. The two gentleman pushed our jeep liberty all the way out so a tow could get to it. And then helped us get to my father in laws house 5 min away. They allowed us to keep the car on the property til a tow could get there. I tell you what.....nobody has customer service like that anymore. Some people could learn a thing or two from these gentlemen. Thank you so much for everything. I wish I could think of the name of the gentlemen who helped us. You need to give them a raise.
Shuttle service easy to use and easy to find at MSP. The staff is really nice. My truck was in one piece and still had all the gas in it, so I would definitely use them again. I was worried about timing, but it's maybe 5 minutes away, so I got to MSP early and after I landed, I didn't have to call anyone for pick up, their shuttle runs every 10 minutes. In a well marked bus. Worth every penny.
I just parked there last week (rxwx8). The facility is convenient, shuttles are fast, and drivers have found a good balance between being helpful but not being so helpful that it's clear they're just angling for tips. I use valet, so I can't comment on the spaces (although they seem fine). A few comments:
#2 and #3 cost this facility a star. But I've already prepaid parking for later this week.
Great service. Quick and easy to park. Friendly drivers.
1) The fees are much higher than they seem. Once you check out, you find an extra few bucks a day for taxes added on. This makes them more expensive (at least for covered valet) than the much-less-customer-friendly competition across the street. But still worth it.
Our driver was Tom. He was rude and was super rushed. My daughter wanted to put something in her bag before having it loaded and he responded in frustration that we are in a hurry. This all was within 30 seconds of parking. He then drove like he was on the way to a fire. Do better.
2) If you make a prepaid reservation and come home early, you'll end up eating the additional days. I found this one out the hard way. This is a problem for business travelers.
3) If you get back late, you might find that they have valets on staff that can't handle a manual transmission. Team--if your people can't drive the manual, at least have them turn it on so it's warm (set the parking brake, take the car out of gear so the stick moves freely, and hold the left clutch pedal all of the way in to start)
