This was my second time using Coit. The first time the technician cleaned the rug and then left despite the rug visibly still having large chunks of pet hair and debris on it. He came back another day and cleaned the rug again. It was still extremely dirty, which I pointed out and at that time he admitted that the rug would best be cleaned by taking it into the service center because of it's high pile. I'm not sure why he didn't say that right off the bat. I wasn't going to use them again but they were having a 40% off sale, so I took a chance, this time telling the technician to not bother trying to clean it on the spot. The rug was returned mildly cleaner than when it left. There was still a lot of visible pet hair and debris. The one star I've given them is for good phone customer service.
John came with a quote higher than anticipated compared with other cleaning services. The sale going on made it more reasonable. We left John alone knowing that some of the stains which were present would never be removed. We were so wrong. Within one hour both chairs and sofa looked so much better. Granted there was a lamp that was damaged but I am confident after talking to the manager that that too will be taken care of t our satisfaction.
Our technician, John, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very efficient and completed our multi-level home in less time than I thought it would take. I would definitely use Coit again.
I have used the COIT company for 11 cleanings--they were recommended to me by my interior decorator when I replaced my carpet. I have never been disappointed in their service--the service I had on 10/11/17 was exceptional--the staff member I had was the same person who was here two years ago!! Happy to see him again and enjoy his very fine work and professional demeanor!!!
Overall I was disappointed both with the price as well as the service itself. i would have preferred a call prior to the service man's arrival. I had to ask his name as he only identified himself as , "COIT." The service man was pleasant and provided me with a bid to cover the hallways and the sofa. He warned me that some areas although "not bad" were problematic. The bid was over $300.00. I had nothing to compare with so I told him to go ahead. He was here about 40 minutes and told me to wait until the following day to vacuum. I was disappointed with the results. The sofa he only covered what could easily be seen (cushions, front and sides). He did not do the back . A neighbor asked me if he pretreated the tough spots and I had to admit he did not. The easy spots look ok but sadly the tough spots look undone. I won't use COIT again.
Expensive? Yes but we’ll worth it as others have failed to clean the furniture as well as Coit.
