Crave is one of our favorite spots to go for a fun date night (if you're willing to brace the mall crowds and parking), but I recommend a reservation for sure!
One of the few decent places to eat in Mall of America while you are there shopping. We ordered a bento box, a poke bowl, and an artichoke dip. All were delicious and the service was good too. It fed the three of us pretty well.
We have also hosted numerous business dinners, and it is always a crowd favorite. The menu has something for everyone. The sushi is my personal favorite (the "Mexican Roll" - pictured - in particular). It isn't cheap eats, but the quality is always excellent and tastes very fresh. Most recently we hosted guests from the U.K. and Japan, they loved the authentic "Minnesotan" beef stroganoff (pictured), and remarked how impressed they were by the sushi for a state not surrounded by ocean!

I went for my birthday last Thursday for the FIRST time with a group of over 20 people. Automatically we were charged 20% gratuity which I understand BUT why was the service horrible? Why did the servers keep bringing us the WRONG orders? Why did the employees ignore me after asking several times about birthday specials? The service of the servers was not disrespectful but they acted like they did not want to be there. A lot of people told me this place was very nice and they help celebrate birthdays in a fun way but it was total opposite. I hate to assume that it was a race issue but who knows with everything going on in this world. I was VERY embarrassed to invite so many people to get such a low grade of service.
Cons:
-Seated fast on a super busy day
-Horrible waiter service. He was super out of it, didnt have any utensils when the food came and he was nowhere insight to request for any, no refills (we had to practically hunt him down and ask TWICE), it was my friend's birthday and she was suppose to get a birthday dessert and he said he would go get her one but brought us the check instead and when we paid he took the payment and disappeared. We waited and he never came back so we decided to just leave.
It was overall a fun experience. We went on a Saturday night, so it was pretty busy. Our server, Quinn, was awesome. Super friendly and consistently checked on us. My food was super good! I got the chicken stirfry. My boyfriends food however was pretty bad, hence the 4 star. We would definitely return though!
